We hope you'll join us for our upcoming special celebrations. All events are free and open to the public.
Pickersgill Retirement Community will host its 31st annual Country Fair and Flea Market Sale on Saturday, September 25 from 10 am to 2 pm on the community’s grounds in Towson. This family event, which is free and open to the public, features music from local bluegrass group The Satyr Hill Band and roving barbershop quartet Port of Call. Children of all ages will enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and clowns.
Flea market bargains will include used furniture, crafts, collectibles, jewelry, homemade baked goods and more. Local community groups and individual vendors are invited to reserve flea market and craft space. (email volcoor@comcast.net for more information).
The annual fair, sponsored by the Towson retirement community on the last Saturday in September, will be held rain or shine. Proceeds from the fair will benefit Pickersgill's Annual Fund. Pickersgill is located at 615 Chestnut Avenue in the heart of Towson. For more information about the event, including inquiries regarding flea market and craft space, please call the public relations office at
